It reaffirms itself as one of the most appreciated labels in both the Friulian and national winemaking scene, as it has been awarded the Tre Bicchieri for the tenth time: it is the Pinot Bianco DOC 2023 from Le Monde, once again a standout in Gambero Rosso’s Guida Vini d’Italia.

Alex Maccan, owner of Le Monde since 2008, commented on this prestigious achievement: “Receiving the Tre Bicchieri award for our Pinot Bianco for the tenth time is a great source of pride for us. It confirms the path we have chosen—working with respect for our land and our traditions while always focusing on quality. Pinot Bianco is a symbol of our identity, and achieving this milestone once again motivates us to continue with dedication on the journey we’ve embarked upon.”

Le Monde’s Pinot Bianco is the result of meticulous vineyard management and the harmonious interaction between climate and soil. The clay and limestone-rich soils of western Friuli give the wine a solid yet balanced structure, enhanced by notes of ripe exotic fruit, yellow peach, and intriguing hints of sweet spices. The result is a wine that fully embodies the connection between the terroir and the grape, offering a harmonious flavor profile that pairs well with seafood dishes and delicate first courses, always delivering great pleasure on the palate.

With this tenth recognition, Le Monde’s Pinot Bianco solidifies its role as an ambassador of the Friulian territory on the international stage, highlighting the value of a winery that continues to evolve without betraying its roots. This achievement reinforces Le Monde’s commitment to creating wines that tell the story and identity of Friuli, while always keeping an eye on the future.
