Tickets are now available for a charity bourbon raffle hosted by the Louisville-based nonprofit The Wizdom Foundation. The raffle features several rare and allocated bourbon prizes, including the main grand prize: a five-bottle Buffalo Trace Antique Collection set. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2025, proceeds from the raffle will support The Wizdom Foundation’s mission to donate bourbon bottles to charitable causes that benefit the Kentuckiana community. Founded in 2009 by the owners of Watch Hill Proper, the nonprofit has a deep passion for whiskey and the community.

“The proceeds from this event will significantly support our goal of making a substantial impact on the local community through our region’s passion for bourbon,” said Becky Howes, Executive Director of the Wizdom Foundation. “Our mission is simply to assist those most in need, and we’re excited to see how the proceeds from this raffle can create a meaningful difference.”

Other raffle grand prizes feature a two-bottle King of Kentucky set, a two-bottle Pappy set, a five-bottle Weller Vertical, a three-bottle Smoke Wagon Experimental Rye Vertical, a two-bottle Van Winkle set, a 2022 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, a 2022 (Spring) Old Fitzgerald 17-Year, a William Heaven Hill 9th Edition 15-Year, and a 2022 Four Roses Limited Edition. The raffle will also offer 15 bonus prizes, including five bottles of Weller Full Proof, five bottles of Weller 12-Year, and five bottles of Blanton’s Single Barrel.

The raffle is held in partnership with the Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270. After raising over $1 million to support the Central Kentucky region through charitable gaming initiatives and signature events, the nonprofit recently launched bourbonraffles.org

“Through partnerships with organizations that share a mutual interest in allocated and collectible whiskeys, Give 270 aims to expand our reach beyond central Kentucky, thereby enhancing our impact on worthy causes,” said Kenny Rambo, co-founder of Give 270. “Working with The Wizdom Foundation for this bourbon raffle perfectly aligns with Give 270’s core mission, and we’re excited to launch the new bourbon raffle platform with an event that supports their cause.”

The raffle will be held live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $100 and will be available until 7 p.m. on the drawing day. A total of 1,000 tickets are available for the raffle. Subject to availability, there is no limit to the number of tickets each person can purchase.

About The Wizdom Foundation
The Wizdom Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises money to donate bourbon bottles to charitable causes benefitting our local Kentuckiana community. Our mission is to help those that are most in need. Bourbon auctions and raffles raise significantly more money than any other fundraiser. Hundreds of local charities need bottle donations every year. We would love to be able to provide a bottle or several bottles for every deserving local charity. Your donations allow us to donate more bottles with high auction value to help these local charities. Our goal by the end of 2025 is to raise at least $1 million for local charities.

The Wizdom Foundation aims to be a 100% public donation charity, meaning every dollar raised through our online fundraisers is issued back as grants to our charity partners. We can achieve this model because of the generous monthly and annual contributions.
